Spoilers. Read with care.
I love the anime Attack on Titan. I’m watching season 4 right now. Oooooooh it’s good.
Listen as you read 🙂
And now, here’s the pitch for combining the two:
You have a colossal debt. To pay off your debt you are employed to stand on the wall of Bastion and fight off colossal monsters. These walls mark the boundary between the only city that matters and the long shadow of Deep Country. From those shadows emerge the peak of human predators: Titans. It is your duty to protect the wall and protect the citizens. There may be a long month ahead for you, but after, you will have your freedom. Your debt will be cleared. In a place where cowards are killed and soldiers are stomped, survival is your top priority.
And now, the less necessary stuff.
Rules for Titans
Titans: A massive (6m to 60m) combatant is treated as a Titan.
-When they take Critical Damage they are incapacitated.
-When they reach STR 0 they are killed.
-Individual attacks against a Titan are Impaired unless they cause Blast Damage or target a weak spot.
-Titan attacks against individuals receive +d12 and cause Blast Damage.
-If there is a major size difference between two Titans, the larger gets +d12 Bonus (Small, Medium, Large)
-Nape (bypasses HP)
-Ankle (when attacked, deal DEX loss instead of damage)
-Elbow (if damage causes STR loss, that arm is stunned for a brief period)
-Eye (if damage causes STR loss, that eye is rendered useless)
-Mouth (if damage causes STR loss, cannot bite or eat or a brief period)
